A couple of things:
1) For those of you that are not coming to the Fest, but would like to join

Names will be drawn separately for those who are here, and for those that
could not make it. I will be sending the prizes out to the winners that could
not make it here. This will greatly benefit Jim, who runs the
JoniMitchell.com site, and enter you to win some really cool Joni stuff!
2) I am starting a scholarship program for the first time this year. It has
come to my attention that several of our members are in a financial crunch
trying to get here this year, and would be greatly helped by donations
towards their food costs. If you are able to help in any way towards this,
and are able to donate towards this fund in any
amount, it will be completely confidential both as to the contributors to the
fund, as well as the recipients. If this idea is positively received, and
"if" there are any extra monies left over in this fund at the end of the
year, I will put them aside for next year's Fest, continuing the tradition.
If you can't make it here yourself, perhaps you can donate a few dollars to
help someone else. Donations can be sent to me at the above address. Please
include a note specifying that it is for the scholarship fund.
3) If you can't make it but would like to phone the party, the best time to
call would probably be Friday night, as on Saturday we will be at the church.
