The last time Joni played at Red Rocks (quite possibly her only time) was on
the 1983 Wild Things Run Fast tour. One date is July 30, 1983, but she may
have played there more than once during that run. Bob or simon will know.
The copy I'm getting is a soundboard, with the lineage SBD > Cass > CD-R.
Since DATs weren't around until 1987 it was most likely recorded onto
cassette or reel-to-reel. It's also possible it was recorded on one of
Sony's PCM devices that record digitally somehow. I have no idea what the
setup was for the soundboards, but SBD > Cass seems right to me.
Circulating copies of this show, as far as I've seen, are incomplete in
soundboard form.
