i was going to stay out of this discussion, but the
pinto reference dragged me in, sputtering and spewing.
i had a pinto (my sister and i shared it), and it
should not have been driven on the freeway but was
(hey, when you're sixteen, those rattles and shakes
and noises just add to the experience!)
my favorite thing about the pinto was the fact that
the gas tank sensor was broken, so everytime i filled
it up i would inevitably end up with gas spewing out
all over me! i was stinky for a year!
my last car: subaru loyale wagon, perfect perfect
shaniqua (aka telluride tilly)....she was a trooper, a
camper, a traveler.
my current car: the stupid stupid subway. sometimes
the stupid bus. and cabs, infrequently.
my next car: another subaru. you can't beat em.
i dream of a legacy outback wagon, or maybe a
forester, or maybe another older loyale...i dream of
shaniqua!
