Indeed I do remember those TV ads. In fact they're still being aired. If you take a jar of Vegemite to Ashara's, Hell, be prepared for some weird reactions. The only time I've ever given Vegemite to someone from another country was when the very early JMDLer, Meriwether Jones, from the USA visited me (long-time JMDLers might remember Meri). His reaction was one of excruciation and it made him pull the most agonised face ! So my warning is to have your camera ready for the face-pulling that is likely to accompany any Vegemite tasting at Joni-fest ! -Gerald
