Hi Walter.
Joni's songs about people generally seem to be about real
people. Amelia is about (or addressed to) famous aviator
Amelia Earhardt, who's plane vanished during a trans-oceanic
solo flight. Furry Lewis is the subject of Furry Sings the Blues,
Sharon is an old friend from Canada, etc. The songs on FTR
chronicle Joni's breakup with singer James Taylor.
