Voodoo economics. It does no good for us to have a few extra dollars to spend
when the result will be higher national debt in the trillions. Who do think
pays that debt? All of us. We did not get a refund because we were
overcharged.. We got a refund because the President and the Congress gambled
that there would be a continuing economic boom for the next few years. The
political decision to do so is up for discussion. But the economic facts are
that we will have to dip into Medicare monies to pay for the shortfall.
