This prompted me to pull out the old Melanie albums to refresh my memory.
The "Candles in the Rain" album does have the opening chant and poem leading
into the song. I don't listen to the old vinyl much as my turntable is
getting rickety, but I was inspired to put this one on and listen. Good
point about the AIDS connection.
