i never ever would have considered buying those expensive creams and potions and whatnot, i don't even shave my legs or bother to use real dye on my gray hair (henna only!)...but.... earlier this year i started to notice those lovely little lines forming around my eyes, and i did panic for a minute. i got a bottle of oil of olay (!) which, as most of the women on the list know only leads to harder drugs... so now i use "hope in a jar" by philosophy. i'm not kidding, that's really what it's called. and it works, but mostly it makes me feel like i have a little control even though i know i don't. so thats my vainglorious story. alison e. in nyc np: ben folds five, video killed the radio star.
