In the 4 years I have been here thislist has always had it's ups and
downs and spats. Usually people who start abusing others are soon put in
their place by mails from those objecting. The people here have not been
afraid to stand and be counted and be decent people who tolerate
differing opinions but do not toelrate nastiness.
So why did a post titled 'expose the bitch' not flutter an eyelid when
aimed at one of our list members? where was the support for Debra?
Surely it isn't that the list was in agreement with the poster? That is
how it appears. Silence often is interpreted as support. Pat was the
only mail I read concerning it and I agree with everything he wrote
about Debra. Having met her, I know she is an authentic, peaceful person
who lives a good life with respect and good feelings towards others
despite her experiences.
It reminds me of school where bullying goes on under people's noses and
it is ignored by those who could stamp it out.
