Well, maybe she was having a bad day? And I must say, she looks very
different in some of those photos to how she looks in real life (not that
any of them are bad, you understand)!
Speaking of Patricia Cornwell, I watched a fascinating documentary over here
the other day about the Body Farm. For those non-Cornwell fans, that's the
research centre in the US where they leave dead human bodies in various
conditions to study the effects of decomposition, so they can learn more
about establishing times of death etc. Patricia Cornwell featured in the
program, and I never realised it, but it was she that "christened" the place
"The Body Farm" in her book of the same name. There were some pretty
amazing cases solved using research from the facility. Pretty gruesome in
some cases. By the way, PC came across exactly as I expected (deep
sigh)......
