What a stupid article. In the context of a comedy show about paedophilia,
the 30 second clip of Phil Collins isn't really the point. I presume the
courts will eventually rule on whether Collins was damaged by the show or
not. Chris Morris normally does brilliant send ups of tv news and
celebrity culture, but this time he got it horribly wrong.. By
disregarding the ugliness of sex abuse and the victim's feelings, Morris
displayed the kind of arrogance he seeks to satirise in others. He
probably sees himself as a kind of media terrorist, but really he's just
another player in a tv ratings war. At least Mark Thomas (whom the
article criticises) has a clear agenda - .leftist anti capitalist etc.
With Chris Morris, it's not clear if he believes in anything.
