Agreed...and I was afraid that this would be very mundane, and I was dead wrong! Great
sound, and Benny's clarinet is exquisite and swings!
Unfortunately, a lot of great musicians have played BSN to little effect, but Goodman
& band really nail it, I think.
When I was in college at NC State I went to see Goodman in Greensboro, about an hour
away. My friends couldn't believe I was going, but I just said "Are you kidding! It's
BENNY-FREAKIN'-GOODMAN!!"
When you have the chance to see a legend, you go.
