Sorry they were written in haste, and included typos, quotation marks on
some song titles, not on others, etc. I should learn to wait until I have
time to caress a post, rather than dash one off when time is limited, but I
did want to share my excitement with others who may be on the fence with
regard to getting a copy from you. I mentioned certain performances, but the
whole disc is a gem. My comment that Goodman's "Both Sides Now" is my
favorite cover of it was perhaps overstating the case, but it is one of the
most radical re-imaginings of it we've heard, and it plays on the strength
of the melody as a fine vehicle for cheerful improvisation. I just love it.
I've always enjoyed Benny, but never heard this! (Maybe Joni was inspired to
use his name in Hejira because of this cover?)

> Thanks too for the notes on the Fareed Haque CD as it was new info to me.
I was so impressed with it I had to send it along to one of my favorite CSN
fans! ;~) >

Fareed Haque's Deja Vu may be out of print. Please let me know, if you go
looking for it, and can't buy it. I'd be delighted to provide a seed to
someone willing to administer a little Haque tree.
