funny he should come up - i'm listening to my all-time favorite album of
his (for the 5th time in the past 2 days), "imperial bedroom".
Agreed! I think "Almost Blue" is one of his best ... a song Sinatra
could've done well with.
And for those who can't abide the voice, Costello's songs have been
covered by a whole slew of artists: Linda Ronstadt (though he trashed her
version of Alison at the time), Everything But The Girl and Bette Midler
off the top of my head.
