It was late and I was too tired last night to go into this, but last year at Fest, Les and I were chatting about whether Joni might ever show up at one of our gatherings. Joni is quite aware of the existence of the JMDL, and no doubt *someone* checks out jonimitchell.com and jmdl.com periodically and reports to Joan. So ... what if, what if ... what if said *someone* mentions to Joni that there's this laid-back festival not too far from Yasgur's Farm ... It's entirely possible that Joni will indeed grace us with her presence at JoniFest some year. Could be this year, could be another year. But *I* ain't taking any chances!! Lori, who will drive from DC to Oliverea (and back) - anyone need a ride?
