Well, I'm not a designer ;) But from my lamer-user point of view banner is cluttered. I would recommend at least to delete all "is" words from there and arrange feature list in two columns to improve readability. "is Java" is not needed in the list at all, since the title already says so. "Advanced datatypes" is not very clear. What did you mean by this?
And could you try to use sans-serif-like font? May be it will look more in focus. Picture itself is ok, I think. Just my IMHO ;)
