At least one can do the same in development environment. Play does it. I was thinking of some hook between the model layer of Play and JOOQ artifacts. Whenever model layer of Play ! , Siena is changed, it is applied to DB.. somehow we could hook up the JOOQ code generation to the code where actually DB schema is changed at run time ( in DEV mode ) in these framework.
