I might actually re-consider supporting simple DDL statements with jOOQ. That way, database migration tools, such as Liquibase or Migrate4j could consider building on top of jOOQ for their migration management. jOOQ would act as a type-safe, integration tested SQL dialect abstraction tool for DDL statements... Let's see where this goes!
