It uses the convenient DSL.using(...) syntax as can be seen here: http://www.jooq.org/doc/3.2/manual/getting-started/tutorials/jooq-in-7-steps/jooq-in-7-steps-step5/ To what part of the documentation would you think this should be added? Note that I personally prefer to fix the API rather than to document its shortcomings.
