VisitListener examples are overdue, indeed, just as much as some default implementations for common use-cases like soft-deleting, for instance: https://github.com/jOOQ/jOOQ/issues/2683 Unfortunately, this hasn't been a priority so far. We're hoping to improve this by jOOQ 3.5. The only example we have so far is this one: http://www.jooq.org/doc/latest/manual/sql-building/queryparts/custom-sql-transformation/transformation-bind-value-abbreviation/ Maybe you delve into it and if you run into issues, you'll ask concrete questions?
