Hi Lukas, No, I don't think that it's possible to get it to work with the current API. The problem is that there seems to be no way to use a forcedType to make the column get created as a String instead of a Timestamp, while at the same time associating it with a DateTime.
Is there any documentation on the TypeProviders mechanism that you mentioned, and is it available in the current 3.5 snapshot?
