I know the topic of 'timezone' support has been brought up before but
figured I'd comment on here in case this is a Jooq 3.9 issue that has been
over looked.
I have a Postgres table called partner with the following fields in the
definition:
creation_date | timestamp with time zone |
modification_date | timestamp with time zone |
I would expect that the data type for the generated code would be:
SQLDataType.TIMESTAMPWITHTIMEZONE
Instead the generated code looks like this:
public final TableField<PartnerRecord, Timestamp> CREATION_DATE =
createField("creation_date", org.jooq.impl.SQLDataType.TIMESTAMP, this, "");
If I flip javaTimeTypes to true then the output becomes:
public final TableField<PartnerRecord, LocalDateTime> CREATION_DATE =
createField("creation_date",
org.jooq.impl.SQLDataType.LOCALDATETIME, this, "");
Neither of which is quiet right or captures the fact that the field is
defined with timezone support.
If this isn't supported yet then that's fine. I'll revisit this once the
feature is fully implemented.
