There is currently no ODT viewer, we are focusing on improving the
current APIs
on OpenDocument manipulations.
jOpenDocument is developed by ILM Informatique, our work is driven by
our clients needs
and users suggestions (with or without a commercial licence) but we have
limited resources and must focus on attainable goals.
That's why I can't give you a release date for an ODT viewer.
Using jOpenDocument from a C++ program is not easy, you will have to use
JNI,

Hi,
On jOpenDocument FAQ http://jopendocument.org/faq.html it is mentioned
that built-in text viewwer is planned. However, I do not have a direct
dates for when it shall be released or if the same has been released.
May someone please suggest of how soon can I expect to see a builtin
viewer for ODT and ODP files.
Also, somehow I can use the jOpenDocument through C++ binding i.e.
using the component from C++ application ?
Anyone ever tried this...
