I'll try 1.2b3 this weekend. (BTW I've seen your benchmark with odfdom 0.8; in the case of octave (spreadsheet I/O) I tried odfdom 0.8 too but had to drop it as it has too many issues - and I found it's much slower than odfdom 0.7.5.)
