Dear tariq,

used this way to create XML HTTP object. and Ala'a I think all the browser let to open XMLHTTPRequest , it deal with it like any normal HTTP request, tariq  use  fire bug  to debug the _javascript_ , I advice  you to use  ajax framework's like SAJAX

    if(window.XMLHttpRequest){
        // Firefox, Safari, Opera...
        object = new XMLHttpRequest();
    } else if(window.ActiveXObject) {
        // Internet Explorer 5+
        object = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP");
    } else {
        // old browser is being used.
        alert('Problem creating the XMLHttpRequest object, You need to update your browser');
    }

Usualy lots of browsers doesn't let you open an xmlhttp request if the request is on other server, so this depends on where is the script and which url is it calling you might recheak
