Hey guys,

Is there a bug in the time() method in PHP5?
I have been using it for an employee attendance program for the past two months with PHP4, and everything was working great. But yesterday i switched to PHP5 and it started returning one hour ahead of current time. If i set the system clock to be one hour late, it returns the correct current time. Switching back to PHP4 solved the problem.

Is it a bug or maybe something changed between the PHP versions? I would like to know because i would prefer to use PHP5, but if time() doesn't work unless i mess with the system clock (which is something i won't do), i'm going to remain with PHP4. Checking it out on http://php.net doesn't say that there is anything different between PHP4 and PHP5.

Thanx in advance.
