if i may add to this topic before we close it, i dont think this approach is the right one i.e pretending stuff didnt happen in school and putting it down to school life.
most things could be put down to school life i agree and most people never remeber those things, but if a senior student in a particular act of violence leaves a lasting mark on a junior then please let's cut the crap and admit it happened, apologies sincerely and move on rather than taking the love me or hate me appoach. the truth is that a lot of people were and still are traumatised by some things that happened in command. i was no saint in school and in the times i have come accross juniors who remebered stuff from my past that i did to hurt them, i always apologied, same when i accuse seniors and they apologies, i move on, but those that pretend it didnt happen makes me so mad, i want to send someone to their siblings schools to beat them blue and black and maybe do the same to their children that they did to me, just so they know how it feels or make them pay dearly in some way......... i could go on and on about the different scenarios i play in my head which i never carry out, imagine that 13 years out of school i still feel anger. i empathise with people like me who carry scars like that and this forum is a good enough forum for people to say sorry and forgive me. is that too much to ask for?
