SUBJECT AND DESCRIPTION



Job Summary


·        Assist in evaluating the manpower needs/requirements of EMTS.
·        Assist with the development of career paths for different categories 
of staff in EMTS and monitor career growth of personnel as appropriate.
 




ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Operational
·        Assist in coordinating activities involved in determining organization 
wide manpower requirements.
·        Consolidate manpower requirements of all divisions/departments into 
organisation-wide manpower plan.
·        Participate in translating the manpower requirements to a recruitment 
plan. 
·        Conduct periodic review of the manpower requirements (number, skills, 
competencies, age, sex, experience etc) of the organization.
·        Participate in career development planning for EMTS.
·        Review EMTS career management framework and career path and recommend 
updates to reflect industry realities.
·        Responsible for the administration of EMTS career management framework.
·        Participate in the identification of career opportunities for staff 
within EMTS
·        Facilitate effective capacity building and career-driven job rotation/ 
movement within EMTS (e.g. transfers, redeployments, relief assignments, etc.).
·        Monitor staff career plans/ path organization-wide. 
·        Handle career management related queries and provide support in career 
counselling/guidance to staff.
·        Monitor and follow up on responsible personnel to ensure timely 
implementation of appraisal review recommendations, especially with regard to 
career and training issues.
·        Liaise with performance management unit to address staff appraisal 
issues and/or conflicts, including post-appraisal appeals.
·        Keep abreast of best practice in career management and advise 
management accordingly.
·        Prepare and submit reports on manpower requirements for management use.
·        Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Manager, 
Organisation Development.
 




EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



·        First degree or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
·        Minimum of two (2) years relevant work experience.
