At some minutes before 4pm when the meeting was to kick off, Ikenna Mbanefo was
on ground to prepare grounds for the meeting.
We had in attendance the following;

5.Harry Erasmus 88'
6.Ikenna Mbanefo 89'
We expected more persons to come for the meeting but these were the persons
that were able to make it.
We felt that because invitations for the meeting was sent via text messages to
the old phone numbers we had in our file, our members may not be using those
numbers again and this to a large extend may have hampared our information
disemination.
Anyways, we brainstormed on the way forward which was the main agenda of the
meeting.
It was agreed after seroius delebrations as follows;
1. The turn out for the meeting was encouraging inspite of the simingly small
number as compared to the number of invitations sent out.
2. That those of us present should get in touch with as many commandoes we know
in the city (Port Harcourt) and get them informed of the plan to revive our
association.
3.That the meeting should be held once every month on the second sunday of the
month.
4. That we should meet informally during the month ie before the day of
meetings to review progress and contacts made.
5. That our personal issues we wish to discuss for the purpose of seeking
solution within ourself could also inform our informal meeting
(Business,contact,health etc)
6. That effort should be made to get all our members who lost interest or do
not show interest in our activities to be involved in this new look
association..
7. That for a start, our focus should be membership and content so that members
are inspired to want to be part of what is happenning both in the association
and our impact on our alma matter.
Ikenna Mbanefo had to take his leave at a point because his son was in the
hospital.
Overall we had a good time together. No man is an island, we need each other.
We therefore will like to use this medium to inform all commandoes living or
visiting Port Harcourt that we, from hence forth, will be holding our meeting
at the officer's mess Bori camp PortHarcourt every second sunday of the month
