A mid-week meeting for Lagos COJOSA was called to address planning towards the end of year Get together and using the occasion to promote a CSSJ Intervention awareness. The below are highlights from the meeting;
Date for the End of year get together/CSSJ Intervention Awareness was agreed by the house to be moved from the 3rd of December to January 14th 2012 due to logistics constraint. Location/hall search for the event will be carried out this week. Proposed were Golden Tulip, Kingsize Place amongst others In view of the weight of the event, as it touches on personalities that would be invited, it was agreed that a “GREEN CARPET” show will be staged to welcome dignitaries. Green Carpet to represent COMMAND Colour. Going by this, Dress code during the Green Carpet will be Corporate wears with any of the following to match; Green tie, Green mufflers, Green shirt to go with a black suit. Thereafter, we can all don our COJOSA T-Shirts. Its planned to have in attendance for the event and particularly to address the sorry state of CSSJ; Past Commandants of CSSJ, Nigerian Army Education Corp, invited Commandants probably from CSSJ Ipaja, the present CSSJ Commandant Money makes things happen; some of our colleagues are donating some substantial amounts in support of this course; to make up for the budget totaling roughly =N=1.7M and to be attended by roughly 150persons, the agreed contribution per person comes to =N=10,000. We are therefore enjoined to make participatory payments of 10,000/Commando. This amount attracts an IV Monies for the event should please be paid into our Lagos COJOSA account. Account Name: Command Secondary School Jos Alumni Association Bank: Ecobank Plc Account Number: 0012011062 17M Intervention Fund matters Account for the Intervention fund has been opened with agreement by the following chapters; Lagos/Abuja/Potharcourt/UK-IRL with Signatories being the present working committee in Lagos COJOSA chapter. The accounts numbers are posted in our COJOSA website www.commandjos.net. The accounts are opened to capture transactions per set. All were requested to visit the webpage. The accounts will be used by the Fund Raising working committee to adequately monitor and communicate to COJOSA worldwide on accounts deposits/set. Also the set coordinators can track how much their set has been able to raise and to do more in gearing other members to meet up with the targeted 1M per set The house was advised that all set coordinators should therefore remit the monies they have collected into the First Bank Intervention Fund Account.
