It gives me great pleasure once again to address this great house COJOSA UK & Ireland and the entire COJOSA members across the globe. COJOSA will continue to be COJOSA irrespective of domicile not a single one of us is superior to the other. As you can see this newsletter like all our other publications gives a clear and transparent picture of our immense hard work and dedication not because of not having other things to do but out of sheer passion which speaks and demonstrates itself for all to see COJOSA UK & Ireland is a community interest company with the ambition of becoming a charity in the near future. With this we can impact our old school in immense ways not in any way a means to an end but a realistic and sensible way of using the resources available in the environment where we live to improve our homeland. COMMAND SECONDARY SCHOOL,JOS. As they say charity begins at home to do otherwise is living with "slave mentality" as I will call it . At COJOSA UK & Ireland yes; giving back to command for us is not mandatory or simply put "a do or die matter" but it is important because to whom much is given much is expected. I Kofo Owojori can personally say COJOSA has opened a lot of avenues for me and has blessed me immensely as I now have friends from all around the globe that I did not meet in command. So eat your heart out if you belong to the school of thought that says Facebook is not official because Facebook has transformed the world for us and within the COJOSA community it has given us extraordinary bonding. I understand that there may be reason why some people can not be actively involved with the social media ie. Facebook. This is why we have facilitated the creation of the command Jos online Community that is WWW.CSSJOS.COM which is the official home of COJOSA this being a strictly Command Jos Forum will immune some of us from these perceived risks. I would not finish this without talking about my E-friends who have become dear brothers and dear sisters to me. We now attend each others special occasions, speak to one another across the globe and anticipate meeting one another in person one day. To my very many "IMAGINE AND COMMANDO GAME HALL friends I say you give me great pleasure and make me laugh every time I check in at our usual meeting point I also want to use this opportunity to commend my seniors who are not IT savvy like myself but have made great efforts in communicating and bonding and even giving advice : Snr Tonye Sogbeye George `82 Snr Gloria Kude-Chunu `83 Snr Sam Gberindyer `84 And the many more that I have not personally encountered but are doing the same I salute you all.!!! We at COJOSA UK & Ireland will continue to do what we feel is right by putting ourselves forward to the expected standards that has been set . Where we can not perform to that standard we will reasonably step aside for those that are capable of doing the job with enthusiasm and passion without trying to undermine them in anyway. As this defines nobility.
Thank You all and enjoy the best of London 2012 and the Olympics.
