What is wrong with the current Constitution? What is the best -and fastest- way to amend the Constitution? What needs to be amended? How soon should we amend it? Who will amend it? Now that we are registered. Now that we are talking of having National Officers. Now that we have the challenge of building a super-structure that transcends Nigeria and allows Chapters in other parts of the world. We need to amend the Constitution. But, does it need any amending? The answer is yes. How are we as Commandos responding to a Commando in crisis? We currently have no strategy. We have not laid out plans for what we are to do in a crisis. What is eventually done depends on who leads the campaign to help a Commando in crisis. This needs to change. UPS AND DOWNS Commandos have faced several crises recently: * Babatunde Dosumu needed a kidney transplant some months ago. * Daniel Otiekwu (1986 Set) passed on. * The Dana air crash claimed the relatives of at least 3 Commandos. * Elder Eke Uwakwe (a.k.a Papa Uwakwe) passed on. * Ms Comfort Ekpo (former Integrated Science Teacher) passed on. * Meka Akerejola (1996 Set) currently needs a kidney transplant. * Cynthia Osokogu (2005? Set) was murdered. * During this period some Commandos have lost spouses, parents, siblings and children that we didn’t hear about. Who is next? How are we as Commandos to respond?
