RE-INTERIM NATIONAL BODY FOR COJOSA In view of recent happenings within the family, i have been thinking of the best way forward for this potential giant called COJOSA.
I am talking about this era where individuals and chapters alike operate without decorum, an era where people arrogate powers to themselves, mount the podium and talk as if we owe our lives to them just because at one time or the other they have been instruments in the hand of God to do one good or the other to our alma mater or help in furthering the cause of the association. In the light of the chaos that ensued from all of these and other things, i saw the formation of the National Interim body of COJOSA at the "NIGHT OF THE RED NECKS" to help bring all chapters under one umbrella as a very good and bold step towards sanitizing the body and a very welcomed development We should know that as individuals no matter how highly placed, we should be answerable and accountable to some authority at some point so that we do not begin to think that we know it all. As much as i totally agree with those who are of the opinion that except you belong to a functional chapter and here i mean financial member, you cannot be a member of cojosa your beign an ex-student of command jos not withstanding, i totally disagree with any disrespectfull approach to this. That i am president of Portharcourt chapter does not in itself confer on me the right to be insolent and disrespectfull to those who are my senior not just in command but in life and age and my juniors as well. Therefor, haven spoken to most of Our active members in Portharcourt on my Return from the "NIGHT OF THE RED NECKS", I want to commend the organisers of that wonderful occassion. It is indeed visionary and glorious. I totally welcome the formation of the Interim National body and in my capacity as President of the Portharcourt chapter, i pledge my unflinching support for body because i see its formation as Gods answer to my prayer of ordering our steps as a body and bringing direction and order in our match to greatness. The body in my opinion is made up of accomplished individuals who at one time or the other have been Involved in The growth of this great association even though not celebrated on the internet therefore they have earned their call to serve and my respect as well.
