JOSE working group members, This message starts the call for adoption of draft-skokan-jose-hpke-pq-pqt ending on 2026-05-29.
As highlighted by Filip, the authors of draft-skokan-jose-hpke-pq-pqt and draft-reddy-cose-jose-pqc-hybrid-hpke have come up with a path forward for their respective documents, following discussion at and after IETF 125. The authors agreed that draft-skokan-jose-hpke-pq-pqt will be the draft to register PQ and PQ/T hybrid algorithm identifiers for JWE will be done in the JOSE working group. The draft-reddy-cose-hpke-pq-pqt document to register PQ and PQ/T hybrid algorithm identifiers for CBOR will be done in COSE. WG members, please respond to this call for adoption with your thoughts on whether or not the JOSE working group should adopt this document.
