Would it be be possible to automatically correlate a gps track to a set of photographs, assuming that 1) Photographs are usually taken when stationary, and 2) Timestamp of photograph is fairly near to the correct time (e.g. within 30 mins).
Take the time of each photograph; take the speed at each of these times and sum them. Offset all times by 1 second, repeat. Use the time offset that results in the lowest average speed. Aled.
