your_qwebview.page()->setViewportSize ( const QSize & ) ?

I think this I tried and it failed. Together with multiple tries to set the stuff in QApplication screen handling.

and if all else fails,

your_qwebview.page()->mainFrame()->setScrollBarPolicy ( orientation , policy )

(...sorry I can't test this right now.)

I will test if I find time, but any working solution is wellcome.

To test it loading a tile in far north/south is enough. They usually are very long in N-S direction.
