sure I can, but that is not what I want. A little example: I have an eeepc of the first generation with a very small display. But I want the editing area to be as big as possible. So I detach all the dialogs. If they are not always on top, I can switch between them with <alt>+tab, what is very fast. If I close all the dialogs, I have to use the mouse to reopen the needed dialog, what forces a rebuild of the drawing area and the dialog space. That is - at least on a non high performance PC - annoying slow.
