I was away in Scotland the whole week-start, so nothing from me. And I also have a problem with the patch - theoretically it should use the new sub-projection methods instead of again using these "out-of-bounds" checks and related workarounds. I'm not happy with it, but I also see, that sub-projections are not 100% finished as well.
