Out of curiosity though since you were changing the internal storage
away from Gettext why did you go with something custom instead of
using Java ResourceBundles or whatever the system Java projects
usually use is?
I have choosen a storage format which easily follows the gettext workflow
and design (with the exception of separating english and translated
texts). I think using anything else would have resulted in too much
changes in the overall design.
Thought, when someone finds a better solution fixes are welcome.
