For OSMtracker I'm dowloading and storing locally tiles with JTileDowmloader from OpenStreetMap http://www.openstreetmap.org/ and Thaimap http://thaimap.osm-tools.org. They are stored in a directory structure: "\Zoom\X\Y.png" (Windows).
It would be great if I could use them not only with OSMtracker on my mobile but also with JOSM Imagery when I'm out to collect data with JOSM livegps and surveyor on my netbook.
