This was mentioned on talk@ today, but it's worth mentioning here. I'm assuming JOSM will fall under the OSM application, so it would be good for it to be well represented on the following list: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/GSoC_Project_Ideas_2012
The Trac is filled with many possible enhancements, but we should try and put forth several good GSoC project ideas for this year.
