from an innocent cool-bar owner in Irinjalakuda a town in Kerala, India.

The KRUPA PRO-LIFERS was conducting a =
prolife exhibition cum seminar in Irinjalakuda, on a summer day. It was =
very hot inside and outside the exhibition hall. The prolifers in order =
to quench their thirst just stepped into the nearest cool bar and order =
for lemon juice. While preparing the lemon juice the owner of the shop =
chatted with the prolifers and out of curiosity he enquired about their =
native place and of their activities, for which the director Abraham =
Puthenkalam very briefly narrated the activities of the prolifers. =
Suddenly the shop-keeper began to cry saying that if you had been here =
two weeks before, my child would not have been butchered.

It was all this. When his first child =
was only eight months old his wife became pregnant again. Very happily =
he met the doctor. But the doctor advised him for abortion, saying that, =
that pregnancy was very dangerous to the mother and that if delivered; =
the child would be a mentally and physically retarded one. The doctor =
compelled him for abortion but they were not willing.

After three weeks his wife had a severe =
fever and stomach pain. They met the same old doctor. The doctor =
repeatedly compelled them for abortion and he started treatment only =
after they had agreed for abortion. Afraid of this doctor threatening =
words, this poor man gave consent to kill his own child.

The poor innocent cool bar shop keeper =
repeated again, Two weeks before this doctor killed my child after =
receiving Rs.1800/=3D from me. If you had been here two weeks before, my =
child would not have been butchered.'
Dear friends, this incident which =
happened in one of our towns, very well illustrates the need for urgent =
and immediate action from our side to protect life. Any lapse from our =
part may cause the brutal killing of innocent children in their mother's =
wombs. In that case will you be responsible for it?
So join the pro-life activities =
immediately.
