Dear friends,

Personal experiences of people, if shared, can work real wonders in the
lives of other people.

We do not have to wait for big events to happen in our lives. The simplest
facts happening in our life, if shared, they are so helpful. I think this is
one way of praising God. Sometimes to convey some important points these
personal experience help in a better way than attending some one-hour class
or talk on the same point. In this world where the importance of the value
of basic characteristics of Christian life, are ignored, it really helps
when one of our youths share how he could manage it with the grace of God.

The other day one elderly person was talking about the importance of the
Word of God. Then he shared one of his experiences. During one of the
univeristy exams, he was asked to supervise found one girl busy copying
from some text she brought to the examination site. Then he thought of
giving her the best possible punishment by asking her to stand up before all
others and asking her to go out etc. But the spirit of God inspired him to
speak to her a Word of God. Thus he went and whispered "those who are
faithful in small things, will be entrusted with big things." The girl
stopped what she did and that was it.

After many years once this professor was in a busy bank and one lady came to
him with much respect and asked, "do you remember me?" Obviously he did not
and the lady explained and said "those words you said in that examination
hall were so powerful that changed the rest of my life. It helped me to
stand by the truth throughout my life and worked hard and now she I have a
very good position in this bank. Now tell me sir How can I help you?" She
asked.

This experience helpmed me understand the importance of using the Word of
God in practical situations which can change the lives of other people.

We had the service team gathering last week in Abu Dhabi. Unlike the other
gatherings there we had a chance to open up and share our experiences, which
were so helpful and all were happy at the end of the day.

During the last couple of days, number of mails in the Joynet are
considerably low (but the number of junk mail coming in has actually
increased). A few months back, there was a sharing from Fatima about
praising, which was so helpful and I could share it to some of my other
friends who did not get a chance to read this mail. May this sharing from
Smiju, help others to share their experiences as well, which would really
help in the life of others reading it.

Prayerful regards,
Sijo Mooken
Abu Dhabi
