Dear Joynetters, Two months back, a boy whom I know, Rajan(real name withheld)met with a bike accident. It was a serious one ande he was the pillion rider. They were a group of boys en route to picnicking on a nearby island. Rajan's left knee-cap got powdered and he was in hospital for two weeks. He is the only son to his parents. When he came home I visited him. He was on bed completely and couldn't touch his foot to the ground. It was a pitiable sight. He was told to visit the hospital after one month. I gave him some catholic magazines, assured him of my prayers and left. He visited the hospital after a month and was admitted to the hospital for about two weeks for removing the plaster and exercises on machines. I met him today. He was telling me , how painful the exercises were and God forbid-such things should not happen even to enemies. He continued, that he used to go to church everyday till the XII std. (PDC), but after that he became so lazy that he stopped going even for Sunday masses. One Sunday he felt like going to church-he attended mass and that day the accident took place. He said-God surely gave me a nice knock. I concluded-'THE LORD SAVED YOU FROM THE CLUTCHES OF DEATH'.Please do keep him in your prayers. Yes, 'the name of the Lord is a strong tower;the righteous run to it and are safe'. (Proverbs 18:10)
