Here, Joshua is dong fine. Today, we had the traditional 27/28 kettu. All our
relatives had come and it was a quite a nice time. He is such a darling boy.
Sofi is doing fine. She is having a tough time taking care of him. But she
loves it.
My sister, Reena has now the three babies she was carrying. The caesarian
operation went well and due to all your prayers, the babies and the mother are
doing fine. It is 2 boys and 1 girl. Thank you for all your prayers.
I am not sure to what Christian sabha I belong! My grandfather belonged to
the Orthodox and due to some misunderstanding with the church authorities; he
switched over to Marthoma Sabha. I was born and Baptised in Marthoma. Later,
in my teens my father switched back to Orthodox Sabha and we went with him (we
didn’t affix any importance to that). I have taken communion in Orthodox
Church. Our (my sisters and mine) religious life was nil and when it came to
the point of marriage, we had to choose to go back to Marthoma Sabha. My
brother in laws family wanted a Marthoma Girl only.
All this while, I had no religious feelings. When I married Sofi, she has made
such a big turn around in me that now I ask God before I venture out for
anything. My greatest wish is to take the Holy Communion in the real way-
after a proper confession. My greatest wish is also the union of all the
sabhas back into the Holy Catholic Church.
Though I am born and brought up in a protestant church, I now believe and
pray in the Catholic way. I want to come back into the fold, but am unsure.
Only if the Lord says to me to go back into the Catholic Church, I would. Now,
I am a catholic believer, though a protestant.
I am ardent believer of our most revered Virgin Mary, Our Mother. I had an
argument with my cousin, who is a protestant over the intercessory prayers to
saints. He says that only Jesus Christ has got the right and power to
intercede. Now Humans (including our Mother Mary) have intercessory powers.
Please clear my doubt.
I want to know more about Saints and martyrs for Christ. Is there any website,
which will inform me in the easiest manner regarding their lives. Two saints
have really caught my mind and whole heart- St. Maria Goretti and St. Francis
of Assissi. However I could try, I could and would never be able to come a
million mine close to St. Francis of Assissi.
Please pray for me that somebody will guide me through my spiritual growth. My
wife Sofi is good guide, but now as she is resting from the pregnancy, she is
tired. Is there anybody who can help me out?
I am out of a Job by November 10th and now I am searching for a Job. All the
earlier tension and sorrow has vanished because now I know that God didn’t
want me to continue in the Job because it would have meant stagnation for me
both career wise and spiritually. I know that When a Door is closed to me;
God would open another for me. I am searching out for Jobs and please pray
that I succeed soon.
I am also desperate to attend an inner healing retreat. Years ago I had gone
to Divine at Muringoor, and there since I was a protestant, I was not able to
confess my sins to anyone at all. I felt so low, but confessed my sis to God
directly hoping surely that I am pardoned. This is the same what I do now.
Seems I am boring you all with all these banter. The problem is that I want
to be back with the Lord. And I am desperate.
