This is form an equally disturbed person ...my name is Viji, Biji its a
matter of one letter, we are same.
Even though I didn't recd any Joynet mails enquiring about my identity,I
have something interesting to share .I had an Email friend. He used to write
me letters thinking I'm a girl and I also didn't revealed my identity for a
long time .But accidentally once it was revealed and my friend disappeared
for ever
One more incident... when I entered into my pre-degree class there was a
person to welcome me ...a girl called Biji, when ever the teacher calls my
name , I can hear a giggling sound from the girls bench...this made me
furious and my struggle(freedom struggle) to change my name reached its
height .As a result there was a long debate in my house regarding my name
and one of my uncle came up with a new meaning(only meaning) to my name .He
said if you split your name that is Vi - ji , Vi stands for Vihayas(sky)
and ji stands for Jigneshu(person who seeks knowledge). So he declared the
meaning of my name as person who seeks knowledge even beyond the sky. So I
tried to console my self thinking this and whenever my parents shouted at
me for not studying well I put my name as a shield .....

I am very happy that atleast my name is exciting the

non-eligible bachelors of Joynet.
I won't be surprised even if I get mails asking me for
a date.

I am a guy. Fortunately or unfortunately, my parents
gave me the name Biji, which is mostly used for naming
gals in Kerala, without my knowledge. I thought of
changing my name several times but the fear of going
through the elaborate procedure of following Indian
government system for changing my name in all of my
certificates motivated me not to go ahead with this.
So, by God's grace I am happy with my name "Biji"
