Hello everybody,
Just the other day i was thinking in church while saying the"Our Father"
We say:" Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass
against us" or
" Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against
us"
When in actual words we unconsciously mean :"God , forgive me only as
much as i have forgiven Joseph who got angry with me today, for no
reason.
Please forgive me only this much.
I dont want total forgiveness of sins.I can forgive him only this
much.Forgive me only as i have forgiven him.
Only this much and no further.
So next time you feel you need to forgive someone, when you say the "Our
Father" the part when you ask God to forgive sins, remember that person,
who you dont want to forgive ,and when you say the words "Forgive us
our sins as we forgive those who sin against us"think about that person.
Other wise we are saying to God "Forgive me this much and no further,I
only want you to forgive me this much because i can only forgive this
much.Thank you."
Love in Jesus
