Praise the Lord. I want to thank you all for praying for the retreat. The retreat went really well. It was a great experience. We went through the Life in the Spirit Seminars and we also discussed how to be better women and men of God. On Friday we had two students give us talks and then we had adoration. We also split into groups to discuss the roles God has given to men and women and how God made each of us differently. It was a very informative session. On the next day, Saturday, we gathered together again and continued with the seminars and the talks. At the end we had the opportunity to be slained in the Spirit. For those of you who don't know what it is, I will explain it to you. Being Slained in Spirit is when you have a great God experience overcome you and when you are being prayed over you fall to the ground. There are many accounts of this in the Bible, both in the Old Testament and in the New Testament. One is when the soldiers come with Judas to arrest Jesus and Jesus says "I am He", and the soldiers fall over. Some of the prophets in the Old Testament also have had this experience. This experience was really great. I recommend the Life in the Spirit seminars to all of you. It is a great spirit filled experience. When I was on the floor, I was over come with the gift of laughter. The lady who leads our group said that God was really healing me. So praise the LORD! I guess that is all! Please do continue to pray for me and my family, especially for my pride.
