hi all... praise the lord
a few days back i was standing near a bus stand waiting for my bus..as usual i was fustrated of DTC..i was singing gospel songs softly..when a boy asked for the time..sitting in the corner.. his voice sounded hollow and empty..i reiterated the question .."what" rather arrogantly...he repeated his question briefly "Time ?"..i said 8.00 .. okay said the boy then a couple of minutes passed and i was feeling guilty of the fact why did i speak to him like that after all he has not done any harm to me..well as far as the bus is concerned its hopeless to worry.. i approached the boy of around 14 yrs..and stood beside him and asked him "whats ur name ?" he answered without looking at me..then i asked where do u stay..and so on ..and the boy was answering obediently to all my questions and maybe thinking at the back of his mind "who is this..a thrown out spy from antartica?" then i asked.. u stay with ur parents and the answer was simple and soft as if stating his fate.."NO" i was shocked..well then i took a sigh and started to talk to him..about GOD ..like ..those who don't have anyone GOD is their parents.. then i asked him do u believe in god ..he said yes..and then i asked him do u speak to him..he said with a smile.."yes in my dreams"..i smiled and asked him what do u ask..he said again smiling ..'MY PARENTS' ..i don't how he managed to smile at that moment of truth that he narrated to me of not having any parents in his life..and asked god why.. well i started to speak to him furthur about gods love and gave him a preists address and told him he can contact him anytime when he needed as of now this boy worked as a helper in his 'Ustads' bus.. after 10 minutes of sharing icould see the joy in his life a kind lost treaure fond he was very happy .. i haven't met him again..but something told me u made somebodys life a big difference by spending 10 minutes with him..praise god... we meet many..many need us ..do share god will help.. bye praying..joe **************************************************************** This mail is generated from JOYnet, a Jesus Youth mailing list.
