When I reached Kuttikkanam that time itself full timers started there sharing. Therefore, I didn�t get an opportunity to know all full timers personally. At noon, we all were in a queue to have our lunch. Then a tall, smart, smiling face guy came to me and said � �Hello, I�m Bruzily.� �Eh?� �Yes chechi, I�m Bruzily.� With a hesitation, I responded �Yaa� Very rare & jumbling name, isn�t it? Then his friends commented on the name and we all had good laugh.
Bruzily is a brother who belongs to the congregation of Oblates of St.Francis de Sales. It�s his 9th year of formation and 4th year in vow. He finished his graduation both in his B.A and B.Ph. As a full-timer, this Bangalorian guy went to Baroda. In Baroda he mainly assisted the JY activities like night vigils, intercessions, house visits etc. his main aim of the house visit was to find out and bring the youths in to fellowship. Once with Reeby (another full-timer placed in Baroda) he went for a house visit. They reached a house, where there was a boy who had no faith in Jesus and Bruzily introduce himself. On hearing the name, �Bruzily� the boy replied that he is �Jackie Chan� in a humorous tone. Reeby had a good laugh. Any way Bruzily win that boy�s heart for Jesus and the boy began to attend the JY prayer group from then onwards.�. I noticed Bruzily is so cool to accept any tease from anybody. He has a special way to handle the people and to win the hearts around him. This character helped him to introduce Jesus in a mighty way! His accommodation with a bachelor was interesting and challenging too. Because his companion had no idea about full- timers. More than that Bruzily had to cook himself that which he never used to. Bolt less bathrooms, water shortage etc. add fuel to his hard ships. Many days he starved because he don�t know how to cook, and no much money to have food from outside.. He takes everything positively and now says he had a nature to talk about the taste of the food. Now he �Knows� well, how many processes are there to prepare even one dish. Therefore, he decided he would not criticize any food item, which will be given to him to eat. Full-timership commitment even corrected his small character deformities. JY Baroda decided to start a prayer meeting in Don Bosco parish, but they heard that parish priest is not interested in charismatic activities. Bruzily began to pray over this special intention. Every one in the locality was so much interested to start a prayer group but the problem lies that who will go to the parish priest for seeking permission. Finally, all other chose him to ask the permission from the priest. One day with much fear he went to meet the priest with an elder brother who was the coordinator of Baroda JY activities. It was purely with the grace of God that priest put up a complete different performance as they expected to happen. He, it seemed, was very much waiting for something like this. Not only he gave necessary permission to start a prayer group but also offered to conduct a one-day programme for the youth of the parish. Bruzily from his experiences says � � If we take a step for the lord, He takes 100 steps ahead us. Let us take that FIRST step.� Praise God!
